When we see around the world there are different kinds of
belief and different kinds of ritual practices. Among all this Christian are
allowed to have the thing which they are using in their worship? For example
Hindu’s are using many eatable things during their worship. Are we allowed to
eat after they are using in praying to their gods. According to me, eating from
other religion is not bad; also when our friend are invite us to their function
or in their puja, during this time we can’t ignore them. Without ignoring just
get whatever they offer to you. If you ignore them, your friend may feel bad to
you. Take it; pray to God and God will purify, then nothing will happen to it.
In Colossians 2: 16, clearly mention that no one should
condemn in the matter of food and drink or celebrating festival, whatever may be,
as the Bible talk about the food which we eat, will not be condemn by anybody
because anything that enter in our mouth doesn't make us bad but the thing
which is coming out from our mouth makes us unclean or bad.
So I had just mention about the reason why people are
always talking about eating from non-believers table is sin. According to me,
if we have more fellowship with them, if we are mingle each other in
everywhere, through our fellowship we can bring them to Christ. But I don’t
talk all of us should go and join in their function. Those who have little
faith should not go and join them. When your mingle or going somewhere and gave
you something to eat don’t ignore them just take in and thank to them and also
thanks to the Almighty, and also ask to make it clean, then God will surely
make clean to the things which you are going to have it. Also whenever you are
with the non-believer try to show that you are follower of the living God.
Without praying for everything doesn't just have something which is offer to
you. Through your action many people may come to know that you’re with the living
God.
