Authority in the word

Joshua 1:7-8, Matt. 10:7-10

            Some people have the authority in different way. If we just look at the football match, they have an authority, without them they can’t do anything. Because they are all in all in the football match. If one of the players doesn’t obey the rule they can give him punishment or make him to miss some of the match.

            But in the Christianity the word of God has more powerful than anyone else in this world. If we are courage and strong in the word of God, the powerful will be shown to us. Authority is the word of God. In Joel 3:10, the weak say I’m strong because of the word of God.

            We need the authority of God, to get out and share the gospel, before the ascension the disciples were not successful in their ministry. But in the Pentecost they received the Holy Spirit and the power of God. The Holy Spirit lead them, when they preach the gospel thousand of peoples were convert and accepted the word of God.

            There are certain way how the word of God give us authority.

Authority in God’s word

            Psalm 118:24, we need to recite the word of God which brings joy, peace etc.

            Psalm 4:13 I can do all things who had strengthen me, (to bring unsaved person to Christ)

            Authority supplying all the needs (Philippians 4:19), it is the supplying of all our needs.

            Romans 8:31 authority of God’s word gives us victory, if God is with us.

            Authority of God heals the disease Isaiah 53:3.
