When we said worship many questions can come in our
mind.
What is God expectation of a believer when it comes to
worship?
How do we get back to the worship?
How do we worship the Lord in spirit and in truth?
The key
concept of worshipping God
God
expect us to worship him, for worshipping our God we need to clean and remove
all the ungodly things that can hindrance us from worship, we need to remove
every evidence that is idolatrous and evil. Worship makes God the center of our
attention and taking away all other distraction from our life. So he is the
number one guiding forces. He doesn’t want us to worship him like other worship
their gods, God doesn’t want us to be consumer in worship.
He
wants us to be producers. We need to bring to God rather than expect what I can
get out of worship. He wants us to worship him truth and spirit. He wants us to
love him supremely. Trust him completely and obey him wholeheartedly offer
sacrifice to him absolutely praise him and thank him continually. We need to
worship the Lord our God in a way that is good and right by completely obeying
his righteous ways. We need to pay attention in the living God. We should not
get carried away by our feeling.
God expect
us to be:
Purity in us is at the core of God expectation for his
presence to be in our midst.
It is the sacrifice where the focus is on bringing our
worship to him.
It is a spirit of thanksgiving and rejoicing in the
presence of God personal as a community.
To obey is better than sacrifice, God is Holy and we
reverence a Holy God.
