Choice or Selection

What kind of choice you have? Let us see six persons who make their choice.

1.      Joshua.24:15, but as from me and my house hold will served the Lord.
Here we can see that Moses was chosen Joshua because he was decided to serve the Lord with all his family. Serving the Lord is better than any other else. Our duty is to do the best way in serving the Lord. Do you choose to serve the Lord?

2.      Ruth. 1:16-17, where you go I’ll go, your God is my God, your people will be my people.
In this book we can see that Ruth choose the right way to follow her mother-in-law. She has faith in her and follows her.

3.      Solomon 1Kings 3:7-9, Give your servant a decreasing heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. To make a great choice is a blessing. What is your choice? Seek the first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you.

4.      Psalm. 119:30, “I have chosen the way of truth, I have set my heart on your Laws.”
Setting our way to the Lord is the right things that the follower of our Lord must do, if we are truly depend on whatever we do, God will give us the right way and set us free in all kinds of bad things.

5.      Luke 10:42, “Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” As we see in the life of Mary she was eagerly seeking our Lord and listen what He was teaching. So, we also have to choose the right things so that no one will take away from us.

6.      Hebrew 11:25, Moses “he chose to be ill-treated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time.” Moses was chosen the right things and the right path, which is acceptable in the sight of God.

So we are the follower of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Which way we are going, it is the right time to chose the right things and the right path, we must deny ourselves and carry the cross everyday and follow our Lord Jesus Christ.
